    Entries are now open for the VMA Annual Awards, the industry’s showcase awards event. The 5 –star Royal Lancaster London Hotel is the venue for the premier event of the veterinary and animal health marketing industry on 15thMarch, 2019.

    “The Awards provide a unique platform to showcase and reward the industry’s skill, creativity and professionalism in marketing its products and services, as well as a fantastic networking opportunity, withmore than 300 guests attending annually,” says VMA Chair, Jane Manning.

    “There are 18 awards spanning all aspects of veterinary marketing including the Practice Marketing Award, Integrated Digital Marketing Award and the hotly contested Young Marketer of the Year Award,” she explains.

    Entries are NOW open and the online process means it’s really simple to upload your work. But entrants should note that the closing date for all entries apart from the Young Marketer of the Year is 31stDecember 2018– five weeks earlier than normal.

    “The new deadline is to accommodate the significant and exciting changes we have made to the judging process which include:
    • A new first round of remote judging, enabling us to access a greater number and wider demographic of judges, followed by a second phase of face to face judging as usual.
    • New judging criteria, including SMART objectives and results against these.
    • Transparent judging expectations, with criteria clearly explained on the website together with top tips and a visual template for what a terrific entry could look like.
    So whether you work in practice or industry,don’t delay start planning your entries today!” concludes Jane.
