Game of Thrones ‘Direwolves’, Summer and Greywind, were the star attractions at fundraising Open Day at Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital in Hillsborough, Northern Ireland, on Saturday 23 September. The dogs arrived with their handlers Will and Cačl Mulhall, who live locally, and posed for photos during the day in return for donations to local charities - Animal Connexions and Cavaliers in Need. Ł700 was raised in total to be split between them.

A fun dog show, agility demonstrations, tours of the hospital and a variety of reptiles and farm animals also featured at the event. “We had a great day with the visit from Summer and Greywind a high point,” said RVN Helen Orr, who helped to organise the day. “We can’t thank everyone enough for coming along and helping us to raise funds for two very important local charities.” Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital is based at 50 Old Coach Road, Hillsborough, BT26 6PB and can be contacted on 028 9268 3711
