I just got an email telling me that according to Bloomberg Business week 14-20 May 2012 p 27-28 testosterone drugs for men are rapidly becoming lifestyle drugs in a similar way to Viagra. It said that prescriptions more than doubled since 2006 and that the market is expected to triple to $5bn by 2017.

This interests me not because I need Viagra...yet...unless of course that is this evening my wife tells me otherwise ...but because before discovering that Ashtanga yoga gave me a better workout I used to go to the gym. One of the things you learn when going to the gym is that some men try to enhance their muscular development with products we use in the veterinary world for other purposes which increase the production of testosterone.

I thought "...I'll try to verfiy these figures before posting them" and came across something much more interesting. Here from a sponsored link on Google I found a site for a UK based clinic where I can 'enhance my virility'. There's a picture of a bloke with a decent set of pecs, a six-pack and a big grin. The site offers me "penile elongation and enlargement" and other delights for the ladies such as "genitalia rejuvenation"; I guess that would be for for when you've been really busy and need a make-over.

It does tell me why I might wish to consider hormone replacement without mentioning the name of the product used. The curious thing is that I was only able to find it via a sponsored link on Google with nothing relating to the content of this site other than the word "testosterone".
