Diane Bird first stepped through the doors of Linnaeus-owned Woodward Veterinary Practice in March 2014 and hasn’t looked back since.
It’s the team spirit at Woodward which particularly makes Diane proud and she said: “I really enjoy working with a close team who get on so well.
“Nothing is too much trouble as we all help our clients when they need support, while also helping the patients feel happy when coming to the practice.”
Diane’s current role as senior receptionist sees her looking after clients, performing additional administrative tasks and being a mentor to the team.
Career highlights include qualifying as a registered veterinary receptionist (BVRA Gold), while also training new members of the reception team.
More light-hearted moments including dressing up a lion with another member of the team for the Ashby FABulous annual town event, plus helping out at the Breedon Summer Fair where Woodward had a stall and there was also a community dog show.
Diane added: “Ten years at Woodward has flown by and I look forward to what the next 10 years might bring!”
Outside of work, Diane enjoys travelling to different countries, going to spin classes and walking her dogs.
