A top Surrey vet practice is throwing open its doors for one day only so pet owners can meet the nursing team and view its first-class facilities.

The fun-packed day takes place at Cathcart and Winn Veterinary Clinic in Farnham on Saturday February 24, between 10am and 1pm, and will see plenty of activities on offer.

Events start with a mouth-watering breakfast buffet, together with a children’s activity station, including colouring, games and arts and crafts, plus nurse workshops looking at weight management, senior pets and dental hygiene.

Visitors can also explore the newly renovated reception area, and there’s a Q&A with clinical director Kate Oppenheimer.

Kate said: “Our open day has something for all pet owners. It’s a great chance to see our facilities and, more importantly, to meet our fantastic team, including our veterinary nurses, who are incredibly skilled and knowledgeable.

“We want everyone to know just how awesome they are and exactly how they help our lovely clients, so this is a great chance to meet them face-to-face.”

The open day also sees cat friendly and dog friendly talks by staff advocates and a prize raffle in aid of local charity Harper Asprey Wildlife.

Additionally, attendees can learn about emergency care, plus there are goodie bags to take away.

Kate added: “I would love pet owners to come to our open day so they can interact with our experienced veterinary and nursing team, participate in informative workshops, and win exciting prizes in our charity raffle draw.”
