Krka has strengthened its technical team with the appointment of veterinary surgeon Renzo Di Florio as its lead UK technical veterinary advisor. In this role, he will provide high quality technical advice and support to Krka customers across the UK, working together with Krka’s HQ veterinary technical team based in Europe.

Renzo Di Florio worked in small animal practice in Italy before moving to the UK in 2009 to join a mixed practice. With farm clients, Renzo particularly focused on the prevention and control of infectious diseases, such as Bovine Respiratory Disease, Bovine TB and Q Fever. During the last two years, he has gained experience in providing commercial technical support in both veterinary pharmaceuticals and diagnostics.

Commenting on his new role, he said: “Helping customers and sales teams to understand how individual veterinary products can be used to optimise animal health and welfare is very rewarding, so I’m excited at this opportunity to help shape the future of KRKA’s veterinary technical support capability in the UK and to ensure we are providing the very highest standard of service.

“I’m particularly looking forward to the opportunity to show our customers how Krka’s product range can deliver daily value to their veterinary businesses.”

Charlotte Read, Key Account Manager for Krka, added: “Renzo joins Krka at an exciting time as we enter the latest phase of our business development strategy in the UK. His depth of experience enables us to offer our customers an enhanced level of technical support, including advice on both specific products and wider therapy areas. Renzo has a strong track record and reputation in the animal health industry and we are thrilled that he has chosen to join us.”
