Celebrating its 25th anniversary as an independent veterinary supplier of consumables and equipment J.A.K Marketing is to focus its efforts with a ‘Think Green’ policy through working with manufacturers and suppliers to maintain their recent ISO 14001 Environmental Management accreditation.
The Yorkshire-based business supply over 7000 quality products of leading brands and are well established as a leading supplier of veterinary consumables and equipment. Having experienced exceptional growth and development in recent years, the focus remains on providing high quality customer service and working collaboratively with customers to continually expand the product range and meet customer requirements. The company’s most recent product additions include handheld vital signs monitors, surgical packs, and safety IV catheters.

J.A.K Marketing began back in 1995 when Kevin Ingram, J.A.K Managing Director, started supplying suture needles from his home. This quickly progressed to new product additions and the creation of a four-page sales brochure that was marketed to the veterinary profession. This brochure still exists today, distributed monthly and widely recognised as the ‘VetInform’ along with an annual comprehensive catalogue.

In 2002 the company moved to its current location and has continued to expand both in physical space and with the number of products supplied. This provided opportunities to expand the company further into manufacturing a selection of own products, the Anaesorber, for scavenging waste gases is a key example of this and continues to be a bestselling item.
