Ceva Animal Health is launching a range of new marketing support to raise awareness of its leading veterinary behaviour products, ADAPTILÒ and FELIWAYÒ, in the run up to and during the fireworks and party season.

The support includes eye-catching new waiting room material including bunting, wall displays, posters, leaflets and leaflet holders. They feature the strapline ‘Help Take The Fear Out of Fireworks’ and will provide owners with hints and tips on how to look after their pets while fireworks are going off.

Ceva is also launching a series of eight short fireworks videos focusing on advice throughout the party season and information on ADAPTIL and FELIWAY. The videos, which are approximately three minutes long are split into dog, puppy and cat and cover:

Dog
  1. Does your dog find loud noises frightening?
  2. Top tips for dog owners this party season
  3. Adaptil support
  4. How to build the perfect dog den
Puppy
  1. Prepare you puppy this party season
  2. Adaptil Junior support
Cat
  1. Keeping cats happy this party season
  2. Feliway support

The videos are presented by Emma Carr, training and charity key account manager at Ceva Animal Health and are available to download via Vimeo and Ceva’s social media tool kit. They can also be accessed via email – cevauk@ceva.com – or my contacting your local Ceva account manager.

Veterinary practices around the UK are being encouraged to decorate their waiting rooms with fireworks displays with the launch of Ceva’s annual fireworks waiting room display competition. The company’s hugely popular competition aims to highlight top tips for pet owners and the benefits of building a den to help calm and reassure dogs during the fireworks festivities. Hundreds of veterinary practices around the country participate in the competition each year, with practices gaining additional credit if they build a den and plug in an ADAPTIL Calm Home Diffuser nearby.

Veterinary practices wishing to participate in the competition can post pictures of the dens and waiting rooms on the Ceva Animal Health UK Facebook page throughout October. And a £200 voucher is up for grabs for the overall winning practice with luxury chocolate hampers available for 10 additional veterinary practices.

Abigail King, senior behaviour product manager at Ceva Animal Health, comments: “The extensive marketing support we are putting behind ADAPTIL and FELIWAY in the run up to the fireworks season will help educate pet owners on the measures that can be put in place to help their pets with firework fears, while highlighting the benefits of our products.”

For further information, or to request the new waiting room material, please contact your local account manager or email cevauk@ceva.com.
