Downland Vets’ new branch in Selsey opened for business on October 22nd. It is their 13th branch and boasts the following facilities:
· 2 consult rooms
· Separate kennels and a cattery
· A prep and theatre room
· Digital x-ray
· A large car park
Located on Chichester Road, Selsey, the branch will also host Nurse Clinics and everybody’s favourite… puppy parties!
‘It’s a really exciting time for us,’ says Group Veterinary Adviser Ben Trimmer, ‘to still be expanding after so many years. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that our commitment to providing pets with the best standard of care is paying off.’
Downland Veterinary Group began in Chichester, back in 1947 when their focus was primarily on farm animals. The opened a small animal clinic in the 1970s and have continued to grow ever since, remaining at the forefront of veterinary surgery and medicine and with practices all across Hampshire, West Sussex and East Sussex.
Their commitment to pet care is second-to-none: they have vets who’ve been with the practice for many years and are familiar faces to their clients, staff regularly attend training to make sure they stay up to date with advancements in veterinary care and they provide their own out-of-hours service – recognising that emergencies are the times clients most need their vet.
The first month has been going smoothly with the branch busy for daily consultations and procedures. It’s a great start, and we’re sure it’ll continue.
