Free Webinar Training on Remote Consultations - MSD
To support veterinary practices during this time of social distancing and self-isolation, MSD Animal Health is running a free training webinar on setting up and running remote consultations. The first of four webinars will take place on Tuesday 21stApril at 8pm. The webinars will offer tips and solutions on effectively running remote consultations that support veterinary practices during the Covid-19 outbreak, and in the longer-term. The series will cover everything from financial benefits, through to effective recommendations and the release of a new, easy to use, telemedicine platform. The first webinar will be run by Dr Sarah Caney (pictured above), the CEO and founder of Vet Professionals, and Dr Hannah Newbury, technical lead vet at MSD Animal Health. They will cover how telemedicine can benefit you, your practice and your patients. They will offer practical tips on how to set up a remote consultation, what you can do via telemedicine during the UK lockdown, and how to carry out these consultations and provide care during this time. Dr Sarah Caney is an internationally renowned feline specialist and a virtual veterinary specialist. She has worked as a feline-only vet for more than twenty years, has published widely in prestigious international journals and been an invited speaker to veterinary conferences around the world. Sarah has worked for many years with the UK cat charity, International Cat Care (ICC) and the International Society of Feline Medicine. Hannah Newbury, is the Companion Animal Veterinary Team Lead at MSD Animal Health. Graduating in 2003, Hannah worked in a busy first opinion practice where she gained her diagnostic imaging certificate and became Clinical Director.
