From time to time the SPVS Board has meetings with other veterinary societies to discuss matters of mutual interest. Last week several board members met up with their counterparts from the Veterinary Management Group (VMG). On the agenda were the SPVS/VMG Congress and CPD programme.
We reviewed the feedback from the Congress. It was great to see so many people appreciating the programme of lectures and social events and the comments received will be fed into the planning of the next Congress which scarily is already underway. As President, it’s exciting to be involved from the beginning of the process, so look out for more details later in the year.
Because we share so many events with VMG we will be adjusting our subscription structure for practices to harmonise with theirs, so Claire and the office team will notify members of the changes shortly.
The SPVS/VMG CPD programme has also been popular with members with no less that 17 events planned for the current year. You can find a full list by clicking here.
