Now into its sixth year, Cx Congress 2020 takes place in Nottingham on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June 2020. Cxclub is delighted to announce that the keynote speaker for this year will be Dr Amir Khan, NHS GP and trainer, diabetes specialist and from the TV series 'GPs: Behind closed doors'. Dr Khan also is a regular face on This Morning, BBC Breakfast and Lorraine.

Dr Khan works in general practice in the centre of Bradford, harnessing his passion for optimising the delivery of community medicine services and engaging patients with the care pathway. He also finds time for training new GP colleagues (and the odd media appearance!) alongside regular duties as Honorary Senior Lecturer at both Leeds and Bradford University.

Dr Khan explains, "I jumped at the chance to speak at the 2020 Cx Congress, as having spoken with Sophie and Alison of Onswitch, it was clear that they share my passion for making health care delivery seamless and mutually beneficial for both practice and client. Effective and empathic communication should always be at the heart of the customer experience, taking into account individual needs and histories - what we're doing in human medicine is equally relevant to the veterinary sector, and there is much we can learn from each other. I'm excited to meet Cx Congress delegates and share stories and experiences about the challenges and rewards of caring for clients with understandably high expectations."

A ticket for Friday’s full-day programme with Professor Adams costs just £139 +VAT, or £259 +VAT to attend both days (offer ends 31/03/2020). More details and booking information can be found at www.onswitch.co.uk/cx-congress-2020 Hotel rooms at the De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre can be booked at delegate rates for those attending both days.

Cx Congress is always a fun, relaxed event, packed full of practical ideas and with Dr Khan at the helm, 2020 promises to be the best yet - we hope to see you there in June!"
