The Association of Veterinary Surgeons Practicing in Northern Ireland (AVSPNI) and the Northern Ireland British Veterinary Nursing Association (NI BVNA Region) are accepting nominations for the fantastic NI Vet Nurse of the Year Awards 2020 until 29th February 2020. Make sure you get your entry in before then!

Categories include:
  • Veterinary Nurse of the Year
  • Student Nurse of the Year
  • Animal Nursing Assistant of the Year
  • Receptionist of the Year
  • and a new category for 2020… Rehoming and Rescue Champion of the Year

In association with Agria Pet Insurance, the awards are a real highlight in the NI veterinary calendar, and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the remarkable work carried out every day by dedicated veterinary professionals.

New category, Rehoming and Rescue Champion of the Year, has been added by popular demand to recognise those individuals that are involved in helping rescue pets and working with rehoming organisations.

Susie Hill, NI Business Development Manager for Agria Pet Insurance said “We’re so pleased to be able to highlight the crucial work that’s done by veterinary staff in the rescue sector with our new award – they play such an important role and make a huge difference to the outcomes for so many animals.

“The NI Vet Nurse awards are very special because they recognise those that make a difference every day to the animals they care for, and their owners. Celebrating individuals that always go above and beyond their duties to care and make difficult times easier is wonderful, and we encourage anyone that’s yet to nominate that special someone to do so.”
