The Royal Norfolk Show has been held almost every year since 1847 and this year looks set to be a bumper event!

Three Rivers Veterinary Group will be there as usual, to welcome visitors with bacon rolls, cheese and biscuits, beer, scones and jam and ice creams. Sounds delicious, but what makes it even better is that all of the food on offer will come from their own farm clients, highlighting the wonderful produce available in Norfolk and Suffolk.

As well as sponsoring the Jersey Cattle classes in the livestock show, Three Rivers Veterinary Group will be showcasing the VetImpress app in a couple of sessions over the two days. This app enables the vets at Three Rivers to implement better vet management of the herds they look after, benefitting both the farmers and their livestock.

Three Rivers vet, Luisa Soares has set up a new clinic offering an embryo transfer service and they will be holding some information sessions for beef and dairy farmers who want to know more.

Will Stevenson, Clinical Director at Three Rivers Veterinary Group said,
‘We are always delighted to support the show, where some of the best stock from East Anglia and across the country come together to showcase the best of our industry.’

There will be some competitions running, on the day and on the Three Rivers Veterinary Group Facebook page in the run up to the show. Prizes on offer include gilets, hats and some calf jackets.

Vets and veterinary nurses from the practice will be on hand throughout the show offering information on diseases and prevention as well as the services they offer to help farmers keep their livestock healthy, productive and happy.

Their stand is just up from the dairy rings if you want to pop along to find out what they have on offer and sample some delicious local produce.
