The Webinar Vet’s 7th Virtual Congress took place on 18th, 19th and 20th January. With over 6000 delegates and over 50 speakers, comprising over 60 hours of content, it was easily one of the largest ever online gatherings of vets. All the recordings will be available on The Webinar Vet website for those who missed the live event.
The congress has drawn praise for the free opening session conducted by the Mind Matters Initiative, an RCVS funded programme that seeks to help vets deal with stress and anxiety.
We have also been commended for the keynote session about plastic pollution. The company has become more involved in promoting sustainability, and devoted an hour of the congress to outlining ways that vets can manage their plastic waste better, to help reduce pollution.
Virtual Congress also helps vets who work in underprivileged countries. The Webinar Vet operates a charitable initiative called the One4One programme, which means that for every ticket bought, one is donated to a vet who otherwise would not be able to attend.
