    ROYAL CANIN will soon be discussing the challenges of weight management for felines and how best to manage the weight loss journey in a new webinar solely focused on cats. Now open for registration, the webinar will be held on Wednesday 13th June at 8pm.

    Hosted by the esteemed RCVS Specialist in Feline Medicine, Samantha Taylor (BvetMed, CertSAM,DipWCVIM,MRCVS), the webinar will explore the ongoing hurdle of ‘getting feline patients seen’.

    Commenting on the upcoming webinar, Samantha Taylor said: “Having a deep understanding about the science and circumstance which creates a weight problem is the first step. However, having complete confidence and conviction in altering both owner and cat behaviour is another challenge altogether. This webinar aims to address these challenges through a multifaceted approach required to achieve weight loss and healthy maintenance.”

      Vets have taken a further step into understanding the deadly dog disease Alabama Rot, but have warned that identifying the exact cause and potentially finding a cure, will take more time.
