Jurox (UK) Limited has launched Buprelieve® containing buprenorphine, a cost-effective opioid analgesic licensed for use in dogs, cats and horses. It joins Alfaxan® as the latest addition to the Jurox family of products.
What is Buprelieve
Buprelieve is a 0.3mg/ml buprenorphine solution for injection that is licensed for post-operative analgesia in all three species and to potentiate the sedative effects of other centrally-acting agents in dogs and horses. It can be administered by intramuscular or intravenous injection to dogs and cats and by intravenous injection to horses and is available in 10ml multi-dose glass vials for easy administration.
