Virbac has appointed Fraser Hodgson as Director of its Large Animal Business Unit in the UK. In this role, he will head the company’s growing Large Animal team and lead the introduction of new products and services to meet the needs of Virbac's ruminant, pigs, poultry and equine customers. He reports to David Ellerton, Managing Director of Virbac UK and Ireland.

Fraser Hodgson held a range of senior sales and marketing roles in the animal and human health sectors in New Zealand and Ireland before moving to Virbac in 2014. He is currently Commercial Manager for Virbac in Ireland, a role he retains.

Commenting on his new role as Business Unit Director for Large Animals in the UK, he said: "It’s been an exciting few months for the Large Animal team with a number of product introductions made and more on the way. I'm looking forward to helping the team to maximise the potential of these products and our existing range, and to developing new product and service opportunities to meet our customers’ needs.”

David Ellerton added: "Fraser has made a great contribution to Virbac since he joined us. His experience and knowledge of the Large Animal sector make him ideally placed to lead our Large Animal Business Unit as it continues to grow and we are delighted to welcome him to this new role.”
