IDEXX has announced its Advanced Diagnostics Stream programme at the London Vet Show, which takes place at ExCeL London on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 November.

One of the event’s platinum sponsors, IDEXX will be running the programme to help educate delegates on up-to-date advancements in veterinary diagnostics. Presented by IDEXX UK Internal Medicine and Pathology Specialists and world renowned international colleagues, the programme will provide two complete days of informative and practical topics. These include: ‘Inflammation or stress? Update on how to assess and monitor inflammation in your patients by use of hematology and acute phase reactants. A case-based approach’ and ‘Problem based internal medicine, the basis of all diagnostic work up’ by Professor Annemarie Kristensen from the University of Copenhagen and Dennis DeNicola from IDEXX and ‘How to approach the vomiting cat and dog’ and ‘Pancreatic disease – beyond pancreatitis’ by veterinary oncology specialist, Stan Marks.

To support the IDEXX Advanced Diagnostics Stream, the IDEXX stand will focus on the diagnostic value of undertaking a Minimum DataBase on symptomatic patients and the monitoring of patients undergoing treatments or in terms of monitoring disease progression. The company will also be illustrating how veterinary professionals can implement diagnostic standardisations in practice within the wider IDEXX Complete Solutions area.
