Coastway Vets is celebrating a major development and expansion of its Brighton Clinic, supported by a major funding package from HSBC.

HSBC’s funding was used to expand the renovated premises in Brighton, which is now fitted with state-of-the-art equipment and additional facilities. This includes a new operating theatre, hydrotherapy suite, cat friendly clinic, a laser therapy unit, an enlarged cattery and a new administration unit. The clinic also has a dedicated facility for the specialist care and treatment of exotic pets.

Victoria Mutter, Area Director of Business Banking for HSBC in Gatwick & East Sussex, said: “With seven successful veterinary practices in Sussex, Coastway Vets has a fantastic reputation for the care it provides to local pets. This expansion in Brighton is a natural move for the business and our funding package has allowed Coastway to develop its new premises and install specialist equipment.”

Tony Cowie, founder of Coastway, added: “Our new Brighton practice is our most developed, state-of-the-art surgery yet. With the latest equipment and facilities we can go above and beyond for the animals in our care, providing the best pet care available.

“We have banked with HSBC since the development of our first practice and value the support and funding the bank has provided, which has contributed to the vast expansion of our business over the past ten years.”

Coastway Vets has been providing exceptional care for household pets in Sussex for over 40 years and also runs a popular cattery. The business has expanded rapidly over the last ten years due to its growing customer base.
