ID:	35702A team from Leicestershire-based Pinfold Vets is one of the latest to sign up for the annual 'Vet Charity Challenge' which, takes place on Saturday 26 September 2015 at Cannock Chase, Staffordshire. Vets Lorna Clark (Calamity Clark) and Rupert Symes (Sartorial Symes), Head Nurse Amy Knight (Knockout Knight) and Receptionist Katie Johnson (Jog on Johnson) are looking forward to tackling a range of gruelling events in order to raise funds for SPANA, International Cat Care and Canine Partners. Challenges they face include orienteering, running, cycling and kayaking and other mental and physical tasks

Rupert Symes commented: "We're all really excited to be taking part in this year’s Vet Charity Challenge. The event should be fantastic fun. Most of us run and swim but kayaking will be a new experience for us all - as will undertaking all three activities are on the same day. We're hoping we don’t get too lost so have been honing our map reading skills. Our training together over the Summer months is continuing and we are competitive and looking to do well. We're counting down the days to the start - bring it on! Previous Vet Charity Challenges have already raised more than £125,000 for the animal charities it supports so we hope this year's event adds significantly to this total."
